Product Care
Mvintage produces jewellery in 316L stainless steel, using enamel, semiprecious gemstones, handcrafted glass stones, and cubic zirconia. Stainless steel is resistant and most importantly hypoallergenic. Each piece is unique to the artisan craftsmanship process, and therefore natural streaking, veins, and/or simple colour differences in the stones may occur. We strive to provide the best quality, combining resistant stainless steel with the finest gold and rose gold IP plating on the market.
At the same time, longevity of rose gold and gold IP plating on jewellery primarily depends on the care and attention that is given and to the conditions the items are worn and stored in.
All jewellery pieces should be stored individually, preferably in the provided Mvintage gift box or pouch in order to avoid abrasion caused by items rubbing against each other. Semi-precious stones and handcrafted glass should not be impacted onto hard surfaces in order to avoid breakages. We also suggest fastening chains when not worn, to avoid these getting tangled.
When choosing to stack multiple pendants on the same chain or earring hoops, it is recommended to make use of our anti-scratch film, available at every point of sale. Find our anti-scratch film stickers here.
Extreme humidity, use of perfume, deodorant, hairspray, make-up, nail polish remover, lotions, oils, antibacterial soaps, shower gels, shampoos, excessive sweating, salty water, chlorine, and chemicals in washing liquids can all have an impact on the gold and rose gold plating. Although stainless steel is strong, gold and rose gold plating is very delicate and can easily be discoloured or darkened if it comes across these elements. Semi-precious stones may also become dull when in contact with these elements since they are naturally porous. Such damage on plating and stones is irreparable.
Cleaning your jewellery is also essential to enjoy it for longer and preserve its shine. We suggest you use a soft, non-abrasive microfiber cloth to softly clean your jewellery pieces. The use of lukewarm water is also accepted as long as the item is then fully dried with a soft cloth. Cleaners containing harsh chemicals are to be absolutely avoided due to irreparable damage.

Returns & Exchanges
You may return products purchased from the Mvintage website for a refund within 15 days from the date of receipt, provided they are unused and in their original condition.
You may also exchange products within 30 days from receipt under the same conditions.
Exceptions: Earrings (for hygiene reasons), customized/engraved jewelry, and items on sale or clearance cannot be returned or exchanged.
Unless products are defective, damaged, or incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using registered mail as proof of shipping.

Refunds
Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used in the original transaction, where possible.
Packaging
All orders are packaged in a beautiful Mvintage box, except for single pendants, which are packed in an Mvintage pouch. Items on sale are also dispatched in an Mvintage pouch. Shopper bags are not included as standard, but you may purchase additional gift boxes.
Taxes & VAT
All prices include VAT but exclude any other applicable taxes. Prices may be displayed exclusive of VAT depending on your geographical location.
Warranty
Mvintage Jewellery is guaranteed for one year from original purchase date (against presentation of original receipt). If you come across any issues with your jewellery within the warranty period, please contact support@mvintage.com , quoting either Order Number (if item was purchased online) or Receipt Number (if item was purchased in one of our stores), and kindly highlight issue together with an attached photo. Our Expert Technical Team will evaluate the case and revert with a report within 10 working days. Team might ask to see product to investigate further, therefore, you may be requested to drop item at one of our stores accordingly. It is at the discretion of the team to accept or reject the claim. If the claim is accepted, the product will be repaired. In the case a product cannot be repaired you will be granted an exchange, or credit note equivalent to the value of the product at the time of purchase.

15.3. The number of arbitrators shall be one (1) and shall be appointed by agreement between the Parties. Should the Parties not agree on the person who shall be appointed as arbitrator within fifteen (15) days from the date on which either of the Parties may refer the dispute, controversy or claim to arbitration. The arbitrator shall be appointed by the Malta Arbitration Centre.
15.4. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be Maltese or English as may agreed between the parties.
